Welcome to the UK Director User Group.

The MacroMedia Director User's Group - UK (DUG-UK) is a voluntary organisation independent of Macromedia and based primarily in the London area.

The aim of DUG is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experience among its members and open channels of communication with other groups, software and hardware companies, and experts in related fields. It is also intended to be a fun group to be in.

We have meetings regularly in the London area (and possibly other areas), with many activities such as Presenters, Industry Luminaries, Software Demos, Special Interest Groups, Tutorial Sessions, etc etc depending on what you might like to see in DUG.

The initial focus of DUG is interactive multimedia, with an emphasis on MacroMedia Director. This will of course include both Animation and Lingo, but its scope is much larger. For the time being it is interested in issues related to animations/movies for delivery on Hard Disk, CD-ROM and the Net. This includes design, content, formats, new developments, work etc...
